Legal Education Access Summer Program

LEAP is a program for college juniors and seniors interested in pursuing a legal career, and will support diversity in the legal profession by inspiring students from groups historically under-represented in the law to become lawyers.

Students from diverse backgrounds will be provided with the training necessary to successfully prepare and navigate the road to law school. Admission to LEAP is competitive, and will accept students who are academically focused and involved in their communities as leaders.

In addition, Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions has partnered with John Marshall to support diversity in the legal field, and will provide each LEAP participant with a free Kaplan LSAT Classroom Course (worth $1,299) .

WiseBorrower Checklist

As outlined on the Ramapo Pre-Law Advising Center website, law school finances can be especially daunting. Please make sure you carefully think about law school loans before loaning out thousands of dollars.
