Ok. City School of Law Scholarships

This was sent to me today. It may be of interest to some of you.

We’ve never been formally introduced, but I’m the Dean of Admissions at Oklahoma City University School of Law (OCU LAW). Each year, OCU LAW hosts its High Ideals Scholarship Preview Weekend for students with a 3.00 g.p.a. and a minimum 150 score on the LSAT. This year’s event is scheduled for Thursday & Friday, January 21st and 22nd. Students meeting this criteria were mailed invitations last week.

I write to invite you to encourage your students to attend. This is a great opportunity for them to learn about OCU LAW and Oklahoma City. The best part is that it’s FREE to your students. My office will arrange and pay for their lodging, meals, and transportation during the Weekend. We’ll also reimburse their travel expenses—airline ticket, mileage, etc.—up to $200! So, why not attend? They will be glad they did. Please encourage them to RSVP on our website: www.okcu.edu/law/highideals and/or contact me if they have questions.

I also invite you to encourage them to consider applying for one of our generous scholarships. We recently announced the creation of several new renewable scholarships ranging from $18,000 to full-tuition and fees (annually). To be eligible for our scholarships, students must apply for admission and complete a scholarship application by February 1st. Visit our website to learn more about all available scholarships: http://www.okcu.edu/law/admissions/finaid-scholarships.php.
